We certainly hope you were all able to celebrate Canada Day well despite whatever restrictions may still be in place where you are.

We enjoyed a quiet day at home with a wonderful meal and a sort of Canadian dessert that Carolyn prepared. It was really yummy!!!

A little over a week ago, Phil was able to travel to La Sierra Norte and do some visiting where churches are able to gather in small groups.  It was great to be able to see some of the folks we’ve been trying to keep connected with even with sporadic reception in the mountains.

One highlight was having Lupita join in on the trip to encourage some of the folks. Her husband was the former President of the churches we work with here in Mexico who passed away at the beginning of March.

We were invited to join a few American missionaries at Camp Oasis not far from Puebla to celebrate 4th of July. It was really fun and great to see some friends while doing our best to distance from one another.
