Canada Work Team
Thank You Canada!
Nov 3 – 12 our Mexico Missionary Team hosted a Work Team from Canada. Bethany EMC in Kitchener and Plattsville EMC raised funds and sent a work team to help build a church here in the town of Cuetzalan about a 3 hour drive from Puebla.
The first few days, we were able to be part of some celebrations with the people we work with. On Sat, Nov 4 we all participated in a Graduation ceremony of our students from La Sierra Norte. About 30 students graduated from Level 1 of the Seminary program that we use to teach and train pastors and leaders. We were so excited to see these students’ accomplishments. On Sun. Nov 5 we shared in the church services in San Miguel and Cuetzalan. We joined the Mexican workers on the construction site on the Monday. While we were not able to see the church building finished, we were so glad to have been part of this exciting moment for the church there.
