Days 9 & 10

August 7 & 8 – Travel in Mexico

Well folks! We made it to Puebla, Mexico! Below is the journey:

Aug 7 – Crossing the U.S./Mexican Border

That’s it for pictures until further across the border! We left about 8:15 AM, had a very brief stop with a glance in the trunk of our car at Customs and to Immigration building right around 9:00 AM. Everything went extremely smooth! Praise the Lord! They do things very different – you progress through Step 1, over to Step 2, then back to Step 1, right over to Step 4 fast lane to pay for Visa, then back to Step 3, and again over to Step 4 where you wait in an incredibly long, hot line to get sticker for your car! Welcome to Mexican Bureaucracy!

Once we got through all that, we had a couple of point checks to be sure we had the sticker on our car and possessed the right paperwork. And … we were off!!

Aug 8 – San Luis Potosi to Puebla

Those are the highlight Photos of our Mexico journey … so far! We made it! No problems on the trip! Now for a day to rest! Well, after church in the morning! Or, maybe we’ll be too excited to be here we’ll just need to explore a wee bit!!
