Snowy, Wintery Weather is Here!  We had a safe drive to and from Clinton this past weekend!

Praise the Lord!  It was slow going at some points, but we made it safe and sound!

We had a wonderful time connecting with the folks of Heartland Community Church in Clinton.  What a beautiful old building and we were thrilled to hear about the soup kitchen ministry that the Lord put into their hands during the downtown fire crisis in Clinton a few years back.2013-11-24 13.47.30

Some folks were disappointed at the turnout due to the weather, but we were blessed by those we met and worshipped with.

Heartland Community Church is a small but vibrant congregation seeking to serve God in their community in very real ways!  We were very impressed with the Soup Kitchen ministry called “Soup & More”.

Every Monday and Wednesday they willingly serve their community by opening their doors to those who need a meal, a warm place to hang out and an opportunity to find the love of God.

Thank you to Nancy and the willing saints who have a heart for their community and serve in this way.

Jesus said, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”  Matthew 25:35-36 NIV

Please be Praying …

* Praise for safety this past month on our long trips around Ontario.

* Pray for Heartland Community Church as they obediently follow Christ in their ministry.  Praise for those people who  have been ministered to through “Soup & More”.

*  Pray for more church connections so we can share our ministry with more people who have a heart for missions.  We have been to 18 churches over the summer and fall.  Pray that they will be able to partner with us financially as they set their 2014 budgets.

* Pray for our Mexico Team Members – Moises & Carolyn Ruiz and Dan & Anne-Marie Chapple.  The Chapples have a shortfall in their support right now.  Pray that their support will come up to 100% soon.  The Ruizes have raised just over half of their support and need more individuals and churches to partner with them as well.
