Port Hope
On November 17th we shared our ministry with the folks at Grace Church in Port Hope.

What a warm reception they gave us!
We had never been to Port Hope before, so we enjoyed a fabulous drive! The drive home was an answer to prayer for sure. We came across on Hwy 401 through to Hwy 410 with no slow downs at all and made great time getting home.
What a beautiful church and location just off of the 401!

Thank you Pastor Jeff for inviting us to come and share with your congregation. We thoroughly enjoyed being with you folks!

Pastor Jeff and Phil go back a couple of years. They took a course together and have managed to stay somewhat connected through EMCC events and pastor’s gatherings. It was great to finally see where you hang your hat and meet some of your folks!
For special music Phil sang one of his favourite songs …

His Eye is on the Sparrow
Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heav’n and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant Friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
Prayer Updates:
* Praise for safety travelling this month. Just one more trip this month to Clinton, ON this coming weekend – the weather forecast is not looking good. Please pray that we’ll be safe.
* Praise that we currently have jobs where we can take the time we need to do this kind of ministry that requires so much travelling. Pray that our financial needs will be met during this time.
* Praise for family. Pray that we will be able to share time this Christmas with Phil’s brother, his sister and some of her family, and Carolyn’s step-dad.
Emphasis Verse: How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? Romans 10:14 NIV
