It’s been such a hectic week, we’re just now getting to an update.  It’s almost the weekend once again and I may as well say it now:

Last weekend we travelled to Guelph to visit some good friends and to speak at Kortright Presbyterian Church.

Phil was the Worship Pastor at KPC from 2003 – 2008.   We had such a great time connecting with the people there.  It was especially encouraging to see so many familiar faces.  As we looked out on the congregation, it felt like coming home!   It was also great to see so many new faces!  What a joy to share with you all!  Unfortunately, we were not able to talk to everyone between or following the services.

Thank you to Pastor Alex for having us share our ministry to Mexico in the weekend services.  Thank you for all your support!

Pastor Alex spoke on Genesis 12:1-3

The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

 “I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.

Wow!  The command to GO and be a BLESSING!  It is certainly a message for today, no matter how you look at it!

Sunday afternoon we were blessed to be the special guests at an Open House at the home of some good friends, Alex & Ramona.

What a blessing it was to be able to spend the afternoon chatting with some friends we hadn’t seen in a number of years!  Thank you for making it a great day!
