Tobermory – Long Weekend!
This past Sunday, June 30 we traveled up to Tobermory – not too far, and led the July long weekend worship service at Tobermory United Church.
Phil spoke on Luke 9:57-60 emphasizing the need to be “Freed to Follow” Christ. It involves:
- Self-Sacrifice
- Shifting Priorities
- Seizing the Day
“Being freed to follow begins with considering the cost of following.”
We also shared about our ministry as New Missionaries to Mexico. Thank you Pastor Brad and Worship Committee for inviting us to lead your congregation in worship and share our ministry with you!
We had a wonderful visit with some familiar faces! It was great to be part of this worshiping community!
